The question is not whether you’ve played this Harry Colt beauty – it’s fantastic by the way – but whether you’ve sampled the club’s lunch? The ‘Tandridge Lunch’ is possibly the best lunch in golf. It is served in the dining room and offers four courses of traditional British food. Starters include seafood and fresh soup, before the focus turns to the heavenly main – comprised of three roasted joints and a wide selection of fresh vegetables. However, the club is immensely proud of its pudding – so leave room, because it’s been a club favourite for over 30 years. Why? Well, it’s a traditional steamed pudding crammed with fruits, spices, brown sugar and golden syrup, served with custard or cream. Sounds good, right?
